Every month, Amazon offers a new selection of free e-books to choose from as part of its First Reads program, and since November just started, a new selection is now available. Unlike last month, where Prime members could choose two free titles out of a selection of ten, this month, there is only one free e-book selection available out of a choice of nine, but you also get a free bonus short, which still adds up to two free titles; you simply don’t have a choice for the second this month. Still, free is free, and even if you’re not a Prime member, you can pick up any of these e-books for the low price of $1.99, a solid deal if you’re looking to expand your Kindle library.
The choices are pretty varied for November; you have a month to decide

November’s First Reads choices
As you can see in the screenshot above, November’s choices are pretty diverse. Not only is there a good mix of male and female authors, but the genres are varied too, ranging from fantasy all the way to true crime.
Of course, as is typical for Amazon’s First Reads program, this month there is a bonus short read. It comes from Lisa Unger, and the short story is called The Kill Clause, which explores the struggles of a hired killer and how the job conflicts with their life during the holidays, which sure sounds like a fun read, perfect for the holiday season.
Beyond the free short read, you can choose another free e-book from a selection of nine titles. For me, I chose Corey Mead’s Pursued, as I’m a sucker for true crime, especially when it’s an exploration of deception with plenty of twists and turns, which is precisely what it says in the description. I’m absolutely here for it!
Then again, if you’re the sort who prefers fantasy, I have to say T. Kingfisher’s Snake-Eater sounds intriguing, taking the reader on a journey as the protagonist explores a desert town filled with eerie beauty and plenty of secrets to uncover, including a vengeful god who is angry that a promise remains unfulfilled.
All in all, it’s looking like November’s First Reads choices are pretty stacked, so no matter what free e-book you choose, in the end, Kindle users come out winners. Which e-book will you pick?
