ReMarkable is (probably) giving away a Paper Pro Move for one lucky artist

All you have to do is create a story, picture, or poem that’s ‘truly human’

For the past week, e-reader nerds (myself included) have been salivating over every morsel of information teased about the new device to be released by the Norwegian E Ink tablet maker reMarkable. It all started about seven days ago when reMarkable dropped a tantalizing video offering glimpses of their new e-writer and promising more information on September 3.

Between now and then, Reddit sleuths have uncovered a series of clues buried in reMarkable’s website console output. The initial clue was found on their home page the day after the video dropped and led deeper into their website. Yesterday, the fourth and final clue was uncovered, revealing a contest with the prize being a “surprise reward.”

There’s no official word on what that prize could be, but oh boy can we speculate! For those that aren’t glued to the latest in E Ink news, just one day after the first clue was found, the new tablet was leaked on Amazon, revealing the “reMarkable Paper Pro Move,” a reMarkable tablet with a smaller form factor and an utterly unique screen resolution. If we had to guess, our money would be on that being the prize.

There’s no official word yet on what kind of specs the new device will have, but if the leaks are to be believed (and we think they’re solid), it will have the same Gallery 3 display technology as the larger Paper Pro (probably a custom collaboration with E Ink), Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and possibly wireless charging. That’s not a lot of info to go on, but we’ll know more in just a few hours.

If this sounds like the kind of tablet you need in your item bag, start flexing those creative muscles, because this contest will only run through midnight EST on Friday. To enter, send your submission off to win-a-paper-tablet@remarkable.com, and let us know if they picked you.
