From job sims to space shooters, we like all kinds of games at Guilty Gamer, but sometimes we want to play something that doesn’t have any stakes; a game that’s all vibes and not much else. Thankfully, there’s Find Meow in Dwarf Mines to scratch that itch.
Sometimes simple is best
Find Meow in Dwarf Mines is a simple hidden object game where the only goal is to find the 100 cats scattered across the hand-drawn dwarven mine. When you find a cat, click on it to see its name and mark it with a color (your choice). Some cats have names with pop-culture references and will net you an achievement when you find them. Plus, they make cute noises when you find them.

Despite being set in a mine, Find Meow in Dwarf Mines has an astonishing lack of depth. There’s one drawing to search, and all you can do is search for the same 100 cats, but for just $1, I’m not paying for much more than what it delivers. If you really need more hidden-cat fun, developer Wander Meows & Woofs also has Find Meow in Wild West available on Steam. Apparently, profits from the game “will be spent on saving the lives of our little furry friends,” but there’s no mention of any particular charity, so take that with a grain of dwarven-mined salt.
If you pick up Find Meow in Dwarf Mines on Steam before October 20, you can have it for just $0.79. That’s cheaper than Taco Bell.
